SeedVault / Crypto risk notice
CRYPTO RISK NOTICE

Onchain activity can cause permanent loss.

Current pilot boundary: SeedVault does not presently ask you to deposit funds, approve tokens or execute a launch. If a page claiming to be SeedVault asks for your recovery phrase or an unexpected transfer, stop immediately.

1. You can lose everything involved

Crypto-assets can lose some or all of their value. Prices can move suddenly, liquidity can disappear and a token may become impossible to sell or transfer. Crypto-assets may not be covered by deposit-guarantee or investor-compensation schemes.

2. Wallet actions can be irreversible

Transactions and approvals can be permanent. A wrong address, wrong chain, malicious signature, unlimited approval, compromised device or exposed recovery phrase can lead to unrecoverable loss. SeedVault cannot reverse blockchain activity.

3. Smart contracts and bridges can fail

Code may contain vulnerabilities, unsafe permissions or economic flaws. Bridges, launchpads, RPC services and wallet-connectivity providers can be attacked, misconfigured or unavailable. An audit can reduce risk but cannot guarantee safety.

4. Solana projects add complexity

Solana use different wallet formats, tooling and execution models. A project name or ticker appearing on several networks does not prove that the tokens are equivalent, bridged, redeemable or controlled by the same contract.

5. People and project information may be wrong

Profiles, skills, portfolios, project claims and wallet addresses are supplied by users and are not identity-verified. Builders or helpers may fail to perform. Token-allocation plans shown in SeedVault are planning records, not issued assets or guaranteed compensation.

6. Regulation and tax can change

Creating, promoting, offering, trading or providing services for crypto-assets may trigger legal, licensing, disclosure, consumer-protection, anti-money-laundering or tax obligations. Requirements depend on the activity and jurisdiction. Before any public token offer or crypto-asset service, obtain specialist legal advice.

7. No advice or endorsement

SeedVault content, calculations, reviews and demo screens are not investment, legal, accounting or tax advice. Listing or owner approval is not an endorsement. Do not make a financial decision solely from information shown here.

8. Safer participation checklist

  • Use a separate wallet with limited assets for testing.
  • Check the exact domain, chain, address and message before signing.
  • Never share a seed phrase, private key or one-time code.
  • Independently verify builders, contracts and external links.
  • Use testnets and small limits before exposing real value.
  • Get an independent contract review before public funds are accepted.
  • Do not risk money you cannot afford to lose.

Official context: the Dutch AFM explains when crypto-asset services require authorization ↗. EU MiCA rules also require crypto disclosures and marketing to be fair, clear and not misleading. SeedVault needs specialist review before enabling a token offer, custody, trading, escrow or other onchain financial functionality.
